Darren P. Hughes is a board certified Physician Assistant who
has worked with Dr. Champine as a first assistant in surgery since 2000. Darren
attended Abilene Christian University for his undergraduate degree and
University of North Texas for his degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Darren
is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and participates in
multiple research studies with Dr. Champine.
Darren is married to a teacher and they have one young boy. He
is very active in his church and participates in medical mission trips to
Guatemala.
